Customer Data Point Settings are defined by a system administrator in the configuration settings of the application.  The end user can then enter into the Data Points area in My Settings and they will be able to choose the available Data Points setup by expanding the dropdowns.  The system admin has 15 options available to them related to the customer.

Contact Data Point Settings (as with the customer data points) are defined by the system administrator.  They have 7 options available.   Expand the dropdown to view the available data points.

Mail Server Settings Tab is where each user enters their Outlook or Google account information.  This information is used in the Calendar Synch between your mail client and WeOpportunity calendar events.

Each setting will be defined from top to bottom

Mail Server Type

There are two options available:  Microsoft Exchange or Google.
Username and
Password

The username is not always the email address.  ImportantNote: you need to test these credentials to ensure they are correct. To test you need to access the web client provided by your service provider.  For Instance, if your company has Office365 you would sign into the Office Outlook 365 login portal; enter your username and password.  Once you get access to your email using the credentials entered here you can be assured the mail server settings are correct.
Auto Sync My Appointments

It’s just a checkbox here.  You can choose to turn off the auto sync.
Sync For No.
of Days

You can define the number of days to sync your appointments.
New Task
To Outlook Option

You have 3 options:
  • Popup:  You have to have popups enabled on your browser to use this feature.
  • Email:  You will receive an email notification of the appointment or task.
  • None:  The calendar will sync without receiving a notification.
Share My Calendar

You can choose to share your calendar.   If you are a member of the sales team this should be selected to allow people assigning leads or your supervisor to have knowledge of your schedule.

Lead Settings Tab:  These setting are applied to the Lead Management Dashboard as shown below

The settings are defined from top to bottom.

Dashboard Action on Any Lead’s Status Change

You have two options here:
  • Auto Refresh will update the display in real time
  • Prompt will request an action to refresh
Select Duration

Select Duration controls the Date Range dropdown on the Lead Management Dashboard.  The choice you make here will control the number of leads you see in the dashboard based on this parameter.  For instance, if you choose Current Week you will only see leads created in the current week.
Select Search
Type

Selecting the Search Type here will confine the search to only the option chosen.  For instance, if you are a sales staff member and you’re creating leads for yourself It makes sense to choose My Opportunities.  If you’re a manager you really should always choose “All”
Search Option

This switch will enable / disable the auto search function where it will begin finding a match automatically after entering 3 characters or greater
